How Soul Star Reading earns money

Soul Star Reading is a small independent publication supported entirely by affiliate commissions. When I recommend a product or program on this site (like Soul Manifestation) and you buy through one of the links I've placed, the vendor pays me a percentage of the sale. You pay exactly the same price you would have paid without going through me.

Most of the affiliate links on this site route through ClickBank, an established digital-product marketplace that handles payment processing, refunds, and vendor payouts.

What "sponsored" means (and doesn't) on this site

Affiliate links here are marked with the HTML attributes rel="sponsored nofollow noopener" as recommended by Google's guidance for affiliate content. That's a signal to search engines that the link is commercial. It is not a signal that the vendor paid me to write a positive review. No vendor featured on Soul Star Reading has paid me to publish anything specific. I choose what to review, how long to test it, and what to say about it.

How I decide what to recommend

Three rules:

  1. I have to have used it. I don't publish reviews of programs I haven't personally worked through for at least three weeks. If the program is expensive, I still buy it — either out of pocket or through an affiliate signup that gives me the same access a paying customer gets.
  2. The refund policy has to be real. I prefer products with a genuine, honored refund window (like ClickBank's 60-day money-back guarantee). If a vendor makes refunds difficult, I don't send readers to them.
  3. The claims have to be reasonable. If a program promises "manifest your dream life in 7 days," I don't recommend it. My reviews will list the honest limits of the program even when doing so probably lowers conversions.

What this site is not

Soul Star Reading is a self-help / spirituality / personal-development publication. It is not medical advice, psychological advice, or financial advice. Sarah Whitmore is a wellness & spirituality writer, not a licensed clinician of any kind.

If something you're experiencing is loud, urgent, or disorienting — persistent distress, thoughts of harming yourself, a real financial emergency — the answer is not on this site. Please talk to a licensed professional in the relevant field.

How I use citations

Any study, statistic, or research finding cited on this blog is a real study I've read. Every citation includes enough information (author, year, journal, and where possible a direct link) that you can look it up yourself. If you ever find a citation that doesn't check out, please email me and I'll fix it publicly. Broken trust is more expensive than being wrong on the internet.
